Asbestos.

So today was training day at work. Thankfully my first aid is up to date so I didn't have to do that one but I did do an asbestos awareness course.

This got me thinking and remembering about my time in Africa working in a mine where asbestos minerals are present. Asbestos is only dangerous when it's a dust/disturbered (we wore a mask whenever we went in the mine) so these rocks with visible asbestos minerals in aren't dangerous.

I spent alot of my final year looking at asbestos type minerals under the microscope and they were all lots of pretty colours!
