The definitive end of the festive season

The annual "Christmas Tree Party" was staged tonight at our local community house - a tremendously popular gathering that featured games and dances around the Christmas tree, a swinging Santa brass band, hot dogs and various pastry, tombola and a final appearance by Santa himself - in other words a great community-building event!
