Fresh copies of The Week and The Spectator are on the doormat. The TV is on. Grace is already in her PJs. Homework is banned. School uniform's all piled up in the washing basket, Tom's at Harry's, or Josh's, Sal's at Gym. Jamie's home. Wine poured, steak spitting and hissing. It must be Friday.
