Neighbour!
I dropped in to see a neighbour today!
Dolly was having her 'hairdresser' appointment this afternoon and after I dropped her off I ran a couple of errands, including picking up some Free-range eggs at one of our local farms. In addition to the chickens, they have ducks, guinea fowl, 2 pigs and a herd of reindeer. I was actually hoping to get some pictures of the reindeer, but they were way over at the other side of the field, all laying down, and not one of them seemed interested in coming over to see me. I think they must have been very tired from all their hard work in December!
This pig is a kunekune pig, a small domestic breed from New Zealand. He is one of two on the farm, and his name is either Hamlet or Percy - I am sorry, I don't know which is which! Click here for an earlier blip from this farm
Dolly looks beautiful after being at the groomers. The visit there always tires her out a great deal, so she's now fast asleep at my feet.
The wind is howling outside - I quite like listening to it, all snuggled up and cosy inside! I can't imagine how bad it must be in Scotland - they're getting it much worse than we are! We've been getting very weird weather these last few days!
