Make it Happen

Our aim is to make dreams come true-we encourage service users to
believe, apply and achieve.

Stuart's dream was to attend T in the Park and as he says here-It made him feel great.

This committee just makes me feel brilliant. We approve funding every quarter to make people's dreams come true- what could be better than that?
They are all service users of Turning Point Scotland, one of Scotland's largest social care charities. Criminal justice, addictions, homelessness, learning disability and mental health problems are some of our areas of expertise.

Our committee is made up of a Board member, staff member and service users. Some of our small awards change lives-like the small grant approved to enable someone just out of prison to update his HGV licence and gain employment.
He will be able to come off benefits and support his family, now that he has addressed his offending and addiction problems.

Humbling indeed.
