the secret place

8:30pm and playing guitar.

Our church community is spending time considering our future direction. Tonight was about what we are sensing God might be saying to us.

To many that is a sign of madness. 

To me, and others, an overflow of out faith - our relationship with God - is that He speaks. Not "thus sayeth" or "stop being happy". But an impression, a perception - and sometimes just a still voice saying "that way".

While we spending time listening, I played some guitar and enjoyed a little time opening my heart through music.

What a gift.

(especially when my parents were at home with the now-sleeping weans and Mrs theWeir was at work).
