Desperately seeking light

Another cold, dark and miserable day - 4 degrees this morning. I seem to recall it was 12 degrees on Christmas Day! We had my friend and her baby over for lunch as I missed his first birthday this week when I was away. I tried making a key lime pie for the first time - was quite yummy. Then we headed up to another friend's for coffee this afternoon. A much needed semi-relaxing day.
