Storm Damage

I came across this scene in Pollokshields, Glasgow, mid morning.  Road closed, Police, Fire Brigade and then roofers.  A chimney had come crashing down in the storm. 

What a night, wind and rain battering down.  The trains here have been off most of the day.  Forth Bridge was closed completely for several hours.  Gusts of over 90 mph in Edinburgh, and over 100 mph in the Western Isles.

There was a lull this afternoon, and now it has all started up again this evening.
