'Ben Kelly @ Oscar's Ale House'

A beautiful cool and showers day today. A really nice change from the hot & humid conditions of the last few days.

Dylan went to the movies with his mate Lucian today to see the Penguins of Madagascar and spent the afternoon at their house. I picked him up after dinner and stayed for a beer with Sam (Lucian's Dad), who is also into music like myself. He had his guitars out and we just had to sit and play and chat about music for about an hour.

Dropped Dylan back at home about 9:30pm and headed out to see Ben play his first gig for the year at Oscar's Ale House in Belgrave. A great gig, great venue, great people. Had a great time, but didn't arrive home until around 1:30am, so technically I'm back blipping this now.

Ben had arranged for the show to be recorded so that he can put together a video release for one of his songs from his latest acoustic album 50,000 people.
