Artisan & Ernest

Took my car to the garage for his MOT and 8 year full service today, costly but glad that's done for another year. After work I went for a meal with Dan's colleagues.
I blipped a photo of the Biscuit factory recently (its a lovely Victorian building previously a biscuit factor but now an art gallery), well today we went to the restaurant at the Biscuit factory called Artisan. Its a gorgeous restaurant! We had mojitos and a delicious 3 course meal. I was really impressed with the food especially my pork belly. It all seemed very posh but I found 3 course for £24 quite reasonable for a fancy restaurant.
Afterwards we tried out a new bar behind the biscuit factory called Ernest. I read about this bar on a list of up and coming bars but had no idea where it was until I drove past 2 weeks ago so thought we'd try it out. Its on the end of a terrace of red brick buildings and is in an otherwise quite industrial area so its quite unusual. Its a cafe and bar and seems quite a cool place. We stayed for a drink before catching a taxi home.
