The Neon Museum

Other than work which has been amazing, this was another highlight of our visit to Las Vegas - The Neon Museum.  A collection of vintage neon signs from the early days until now.

They're all there. The Sands, The Golden Nugget, the Flamingo, The Stardust - you can almost hear the echoes of Mr Sinatra and the Rat Pack/

I know it sound cheesy in the extreme but it was actually very good and highly recommended.

We loved it.

The guide talked us through the history of the town, the neon designers, the technology, stories of the mob, billionaires and people who, or may not, be  buried out there in the desert.

Now for an early night in preparation for our trip home. It can't come soon enough for me.
