Surfer silhouettes ...

Down to the beach before sunrise to watch the attempt at a Guinness World Record for the most longboards together. This was part of the weekend festivities for Duke's Day, celebrating 100 years of surfing in Australia. 

A row of over 190 bleary eyed surfers faced off against a row of bleary eyed photographers and spectators. A beautiful morning and gorgeous light ... and a personal best, having a blip completed by 6.10am!
