Easy friday

Today's been nice, went to do some shopping to stock up for my mom's trip to France -she goes there to make sculptures every year- and found a little present for my boyfriend as well!
Afterwards my niece and her dog picked me up to go for another walk into the woods.. We made Laika pose for a nice picture.. but unfortunately ¨Sam¨ won..
She was sitting on the tree, and didn't flinch at all when we walked at about 30 cm(!!) distance.. She was sitting about 1,5m high, so she was our picture target for about 6 pictures, and after our walk she was still there, so 2 more..
Just to make sure we could identify her.

She is a ¨Black woodpecker¨ (Zwarte specht) and a female, according to soortenbank (the picture in the link is a male)
