Porty People and Places
Not much to take away from today's weather forecast.
Running into the wind on the beach and being peppered by ballistic grains of sand was quite a challenge, but nothing to that being experienced in the north and west of Scotland as the second storm system in consecutive nights roars through.
The sea, sheltered from the north westerly gale, was extremely calm - in the Forth Estuary - at least.
As I upload this Blip the sleet and wet snow have begun to sweep through Joppa.
We hope the bad weather does not prevent us meeting up this evening with our friends travelling north, by train, to spend the weekend here.
