Here it comes...

The forecast for the next few days looks truly awful - to be fair today's not that great - but I've had too many days in front of the pc, or in meetings or on trains recently - so just needed to get out.
Wrapped up I was definitely in 'type 2 fun' territory - but its was surprisingly warm - so long as no part of you was exposed to the fiercely cold wind. Most of the pics I took were too grey to do much with as the hill cloud scuttled past - sheltering here for a quick hot drink it became evident that the winds were arriving early & this was as high as I was going on an exposed ridge for the day - looking back at pics later this one seemed to sum up that turning point, both in progress & weather, quite nicely - so its today's blip.
