Going Bigger!

This is the pastel painting: 12" x 15" i have been playing with for the past couple of days!   Trying to recreate this!  

There is something that gets lost in translation when moving from a small sketch to a larger painting.....but i'm still quite satisfied with this one and will keep using this composition for a bit - trying out other monochromatic schemes!

It was also so wonderful to have my fellow artist friend Jane to talk to about our art.....we'll be getting together hopefully on a regular basis to do our art and dwell only on that!   can't wait!
