Memories of my childhood!

A visit this morning to the newly refurbished Theatre Royal .. sadly it was too windy to venture onto the terrace on the top floor but that was more than compensated by an unexpected opportunity to hear a talk on 'The Nutcracker' and a chance to watch a dance class taking place.
During my years at ballet lessons I did manage to wear pointe shoes but they did hurt my feet. Seeing the shoes and being able to handle them reminded just how uncomfortable they were
