Little lamps in the darkness

These snowdrops are very early this year...I'm not sure when they usually appear in these parts, but I'm, sure they shouldn't be up and about yet - but nonetheless their little white lampshades are more than welcome!

I didn't have the camera with me when I spotted them so had to make do with squatting down at an awkward angle, avoiding the dead brambles, and doing my best with my phone.

But it's the thought that counts...Spring's not too far away.
