Lomography

This is a lomography action sampler uboot edition 35mm camera, which I received as a Secret Santa gift and what a good choice it was.

he way it works is all 4 lenses are fired in sequence and it produces a 4 frame photo on one image (think photo booth but square not in a line). Obviously its back in the dark ages of film so results can be hit and miss it’s a FUN camera and something which has been on my “want” list for ages but I’ve never got around to buying. Therefore I am really looking forward to playing.

Strangely I used to have a uboot account and I was disappointed that I never received one of these cameras back in the day.  For anyone who doesn’t know uboot was a social networking site way before Facebook, it was German based and it really was a lot of fun it was around from 1999 until 2011 although they tried in vain to keep it going it under a new concept until last year when it finally succumbed just like the other defunct social network site Orcut.  Not that I have used it for a long time but if my memory is correct you could also use it as a platform to send people free text messages.
