Odd duck

Spent a morning in the woods with our whole group to learn about forestry for the nature course, it was very windy and became  quite cold, but it was very good to be outside and having something else to think about than the state of the world. At the end of the tour we saw this group of drakes and one duck, and she was definitely an out of the ordinary duck. She may be a 'Oud-Hollandse Dwergkuifeend' , translated something like the 'Old-Dutch Mini Tufted Duck' , probably a descendant of a Bali duck brought to the Low Countries by the merchant ships going to and from South East Asia in the 17th century.  The weather was dull, the pond was rather brownish, so I've turned her into a golden Lady QuackQuack with her retinue with the help of the 'Fauve Gold' texture.
