Bedford footbridges
Off to watch a home rugby match against Doncaster and on the way I stopped at the Embankment in Bedford to take a few shots. In the distance is the 'Butterfly' footbridge built in 1997; although it's not clear from this shot the arches lean out at around a 45 degree angle to look like the wings of a butterfly. In the foreground is the arch from the original suspension footbridge, built in 1888.
Excellent game; after being 9-26 down at half time, we played a superb second half and ended up winning 35-29. A great result.
