Evening all.

This is Gene.

Gene is a Christmas tree ornament.

He doesn't like being an ornament and much prefers his status as rock god, arch bassist and arch capitalist.

As such each year he attempts a form of kamikaze and throws himself from the branches of the tree to shatter in a shower of pyrotechnic pieces on the floor.

Each year I repair him with a combination of glue, love and surgical tape, only to have him repeat the performance again and again...

How art so often imitates life!
