Kowhai Stream Bed and Little Mount Peel

This afternoon Jack and I went for a quick explore up the dry bed of the Kowhai Stream, situated at the end of our new road.

Its pretty dry as you can see and its hard to believe this was once the scene of a devastating flash flood in 1975.
