Grass

We have had so little precipitation of any sort the last month or more.. The grasses are very dried out and flammable. The field to the south of us is used for hay but the very edges don't get cut. The reddish grass here is big bluestem. There is not a lot round here but further west, this is the grass that constitutes the prairie that makes for such good grazing and our widespread cattle ranching.
