While Murphy went for his hair cut today we went to Alresford.

We headed to the Watercress Line as we like the cafe. We hadn't realised that the steam trains don't run in January. In fact the station was deserted.

But there was a train in the station and it was still decorated for Christmas.

Murphy is now looking lovely but he is very tired after all of the excitement and has taken himself to bed.

Everywhere I walked today there were unloved Christmas trees waiting to be collected. There was one in a telephone box holding the phone. I took a photo but it doesn't do it justice. I did laugh though
