Flying weather

Somewhat turbulent but after weeks of first rain and cold then snow and even colder, the bees have been grounded for a long time.

Today temperature shot up to +15°C, so a chance to stretch the wings before the cold returns tomorrow.

The photo is of the weakest of the four colonies and the only one I opened up as there was little sign of activity at the entrance. All was fine and when I had closed up again, they came out in force.

Like me they probably didn't believe it could be so warm.
