The chaser and the chasee

This little dunnock nearly came to grief being chased by a little calico cat.

Saw cat streaking across grass, heard much tweeting, then a very ruffled dunnock was sitting up the cherry tree telling the world the problem! Cat came in with a sheepish, nothing to see here folks expression and proceeded onto the silk duvet ( the rule is no cats on the bed) where she's slept all afternoon.

A win to the dunnock, thank goodness.

Just realised this is my 1700th blip - that's a lot of days. Only missed two days since I started, both times crossing the dateline and not adjusting the camera soon enough.
