Blessed rains

Yesterday I was reading all my Sydney area blipmates journals and they were getting good rain but we hadn't had any yet.  Then it started last night and has been a steady constant trickle all day.  The gardens are smiling.  I did think it was clearing a bit and thought it might be nice for a mono at Catho with all that cloud but it was a question of holding the umbrella over the camera and trying to remember to wipe the inevitable drips off the filters.  I had the ND and ND grad filters on for this,  A surfer came up and asked me what that "thing" was at the end of the lens.  ND Filter 101 ensued.
