Oh what a night!

I was standing at our cottage window at 1 a.m. looking at the sheet lightning flashing away over East Lothian. Not a night to be out.

My travelling companion had been keeping an eye on weather updates and we deemed it safe enough to head back to Edinburgh from Crail by mid morning. At one point I looked out and saw this inflatable chair being blown eastwards along Nethergate.

We had a visit from Elaine from Anster Interiors who's hopefully going to make me some new curtains.
