Kinetic energy

This is a kinetic sculpture in Silo Park at Wynyard Quarter - the area in which I work. This is an old maritime industrial zone by the dockside that is being turned into a lively business, restaurant and urbanite living area. 

This is Auckland summer at its best. On leaving work I weave my way by buildings that are being taken down, empty building plots and pristine new paths and landscaping. The big appeal is the new play parks, basketball courts and outdoor spaces that attract young people, families and travellers.
