This is Australia

...and part of living here in the hot dry summer months is the risk of bushfires.  This one started in the morning out at Bullsbrook - it has been very windy lately and today was no exception.  Luckily no one was hurt and only a few properties were lost.  The smoke was dark and high in the sky all day and  late into the evening.
