Park Life

Events conspired against us attending church this morning. Both we went to had notices on the door to say there was no service this morning. So we headed to the park for a walk round the lake.
It was still blustery and cold this morning at the park - but always beautiful. In winter, the sun hangs low over the lake, and I could spend hours looking at views like this. It reminds me what a wonderful world we live in. And how privileged I am to have such great parks nearby.
