The hope of spring amongst the winter debris

This little bunch looked happier a few days ago, the wind is battering them and the flower heads are nodding without regard for the camera. I quite liked the bit of lichen and old leaves surrounding the plant and can see other growth sprouting nearby. Much to look forward to.
