Run For Freedom

Joined with many other runners across the globe this morning, running to remember those 17 who lost their lives this week in France as a result of violent terrorist acts.

I was conscious too  today of 19 who lost their lives in the bomb attack in north east Nigeria.

Violence in the name of religion is strewn across the centuries, it seems no faith group is without shame, nor those of so called no faith.

We live in troubled times but the fact whether up on a blowy, cold, muddy Ilkley Moor or the elegant blood stained streets of Paris we can stand shoulder to shoulder is something isn't it? There is much more beauty than ugliness.
