We went for a chilly walk through the Hermitage this morning, bits of snow were still blowing around in the wind but generally everything has calmed down a lot. There isn't much contrast to be had in the very flat, grey light today, everything looks very dreich. 

I liked the texture of the tree trunk, moss, rusting fence, twigs and snow. 

I'm sure one of my new years resolutions was to move away from photographing landscapes...
