Grey house

This is the old schoolhouse once home to John Smith who for a short time was the leader of the Labour party and died from a heart attack at the relative young ish age of fifty something. He is buried on the island of Iona.
It's behind our house and was lived in by my cousins for a good number of years. It's quite a strange house as it had the school attached to it so the poor teacher was never really far from his work. It's also got a fair number of spooks that had a habit of chucking things around or hiding stuff. It was something you got used to.
My cousins had to leave it when the boiler burst and it flooded the kitchen bringing down the ceiling.
Its lain empty for about three years now and has been bought by a local building firm.
Who knows what they will do with it but it sure had  lots of stories to tell.
