Tony Burke's PhotoJournal

Well, we can dream...

I've always quite fancied the idea of owning a historic property, particularly as building conservation is one of my subjects at work. I often walk past this one in Moss Lane in Pinner and wonder how much hassle it is to maintain. It is over 420 years old, and it's listed and in a conservation area, so special consents would be required to do pretty much anything to it.

Of course, it's not something I'll ever have to worry about, because it would probably cost about £2 million to buy!
