River Test

Today was the first long walk of the new year - 16 miles starting from Whitchurch, going round via St Mary Bourne and Longparish.  It was so good to get out in the fresh air and stretch the legs - though they are complaining about it now.  Hot bath required!

In other news...  both sets of neighbours are coming round for supper tonight.  I put a really nice casserole together last night with the intention for it go in the oven before going out today.  Only I forgot to put it in!  I hope 3 1/2 hours will be enough to make the meat nice and tender...
