Spending opportunity

Becky has got to that age when she comes home regularly with invitations to spend money on a variety of activities.

This one was Brownie camp (in a couple of months but Becky has already started packing) and the difference was the fact that this time required the use of an old fashioned payment technique, writing a cheque. Feels so alien nowadays and yet this is the cheque book cover I bought soon after starting work in 1980.

So this is actually a photo of a historical artefact.
