Surprise!

This orchid must thrive on neglect, it's burst into bloom after being left to its own devices for a few months. First surprise of the day!

Up visiting my mum and she had a few other surprises. In no particular order, she remembered the bad news about Charlie, she flew planes during the war and she was at school with Del Monte. That last one's my favourite!
