De ja Vu

I like my walks with the dog around the sand dunes on our local beach.  Kelso, his nose close to the sand picks up the scent of other dogs, maybe the occasional otter, but what he is really looking for is rabbits.  When sees one, he's after it, porpoising through the marram grass when he loses sight of it, switching back and forth.  He's never caught one yet and I hope it stays that way.  Meanwhile I meander on, looking for patterns and images to make, putting the world or work or DIY projects to rights in my head.  Then I come across footprints.  My footprints striding off into the distance.  I change my course - I like to vary my route.
