Met up with Ruth to go for a wander round the local reservoir to see if we could spot the elusive kingfisher which is always never there.....just as we were giving up hope, I spotted him :)

Very exciting! We watched him for ages, saw him catch a fish and lots of blue blurry flights as he darted about up and down the canal.  The he appeared on the reservoir as we were walking back home......feeling very lucky!

The picture isn't great, but for a first attempt I am pleased, wish I had taken my bigger lens with me now! 

Sorry for my lack of comments, I am attempting to start a fresh from tomorrow and keep up this time!  Thank to those that have commented or given stars to my blips, I will thank you properly eventually!
