Tufted duck
This afternoon I went for a walk in the same area of the Blaarmeersen where I'd photographed the Little Grebes a few weeks ago. This time I spotted a Great Crested Grebe there as well as some Cormorants but I thought my best shot was of one of the Tufted Ducks there.
The path that I followed again today was a little too crowded for my liking, even though it was overcast and there was a cold strong wind. It'll probably be best to avoid that particular area in the summer, especially on days with warm weather, as it contains several sports fields as well as an outdoor swimming pool. Hopefully there are other paths that will be less frequented when that time arrives.
