fresh meets salt

This is where the stream that runs through the center of our village flows into the bay. I went here today to try and get a shot of all the ducks that congregate when the weather allows. I really don't know how you birders do it. I tried very hard to be patient with waiting for a good "duck" shot, but in the process I fell down the bank. Nothing serious, it just made me mad
 ( and I looked pretty silly, I'm sure). In the end, I had to admit the ducks were beautiful, but my photos were not. Maybe I'll try again soon.
