I've been updating some of our charts for the west coast at the big table in the room where the TV with the nesting box is, so have been able to monitor the activity in the nest.

There are 8 or 9 blue tits' eggs this year. One bird incubates the eggs and the other brings in food for it. Strangely, once this has been done the bird on the nest pops out for a while!

It's rained most of the day and is very cold - I'm hoping for some better weather soon!
