phil and athena

just before christmas our beloved pastor and wife had to leave us to relocate down south. this has left our tiny congregation a little bereft and scattered.

today malesi and i went for lunch with two of our former church pals, phil and athena. although, like all the best lunches, it turned into an afternoon and then an evening of chatting and laughing. 

these two have an absolutely stunningly beautiful house, but even more stunningly beautiful hearts. we enjoyed the best of their food and hospitality and soaked in their wisdom.

what a day of being church family.
