Carmen Miranda

We bought Carmen Miranda in the Catete barrio of Rio during the carnival of 2011 from a rather eccentric street seller. Poor thing, she was then stored up in the ceiling cupboard in our little Rio studio for many months, but this time I decided she was coming back to Bcn with us. She seems quite at home on our bookshelves here and will no doubt be brought down from time to time by visitors and be allowed to stretch her limbs and enjoy a little dance on her strings!
