Pointing Pointer

Dris (pronounced Dreesh) the german shorthaired pointer and I have been beating at a rough shoot all day today. Thankfully it was reasonably dry today. Dris was in real good form and pointing and flushing birds very well. In this picture he is pointing a bird that has actually run on ahead so I took the opportunity to take a picture of him pointing before sending him on again. He is absolutely exhausted now and I'm not far behind him! Glad I stuck a beef stew in the slow cooker before I went out.

I think this is my 50th blip in a row quite chuffed to have managed that many so far!
