Déjà vu

It was one of those moments. My wife decided she would make a mixed fruit salad last night having bought a packet of dried fruits. She soaked them overnight and put it out for supper tonight. It was a bit of a "shock" as this dish was one of my Mums most favourite and one she made most weeks - it seemed there was always a bowl of mixed fruit salad on the trolley in the dining room. She died in 1981 so it was a nice nudge to have very happy thoughts about my Mum...
