A single good reason

Eureka! I have found it; a single good reason to LOVE -21 degree temps!

Inspired by DelenaJane and her frozen bubbles, I had to try it today because by Wednesday it'll be far too warm.

Difficult to do; there can't be the slightest breeze. Commercial bubble solution fell short so I made up a mixture of dishwashing liquid, corn syrup and water, which made the bubbles stronger. One even floated into a juniper tree, became stuck and then froze in place without bursting.

It is pure magic to watch the feathery crystals form and encircle the bubble within a few seconds. If you have a sec, go large for some proper feathery detail.
